Stop trying to be a round peg

Wildlife centre Isle of Man Sept 2011 047

Stop trying to be a round peg!

The hole is round but you are square
The world is round but you are square

What happens when the round world needs a square peg?

When the round pegs stare in disbelief
Be proud in your squareness and show them your teeth

A square can do what a round can not
So don’t try and be round you’re square

Imagine a world with only round pegs

Embrace your corners don’t hide them away?
The best place to put them is on constant display

But heed this warning, beware of those rounds
They’ll try and smooth your corners *sanding sounds*
They’ll grate and chip till your squareness is gone
Then they’ll find a square hole and realise what they’ve done!

its awful when you do feel like a square peg in a round hole. But what do you do?You might as well be yourself as you can’t please everyone.Fight your corner!
